You can get a lens that does tilt-shifting, but we are using photoshop. One tutorial for tilt-shift photography is at
http://www.tiltshiftphotography.net/tilt-shift-photography-photoshop-tutorial/ . Following the instructions there, we looked for photos that would give the impression of a model. Then we used a quick mask and a reflected gradient. With tht gradient area selected we applied the lens blur filter, and then made photo adjustments (hue and saturation) to try create the minature model effect.
